Quick and Easy Seasoned Tomato Sauce

- 2 tablespoons butter
- 3 – 4 cloves fresh garlic, chopped
- 3 scallions, chopped
- 2 – eight ounce cans tomato sauce
- 1/2 teaspoons salt
- 1/2 teaspoons black pepper
Preparation
- Heat skillet to medium heat and melt the butter.
- Add garlic cloves and scallions, then slightly brown. Stir the garlic and scallions.
- Decrease heat to a low setting, then add the tomato sauce and stir.
- Season with 1/2 teaspoon salt and 1/2 teaspoon black pepper.
- Stir the sauce to mix all of the ingredients well. Cook on low heat and simmer for 15 – 20 minutes.
- If you want to spice up the sauce a bit more, season with any of these spices. Italian seasoning, oregano, curry, rosemary.
